New Rider Checklist:

New to riding? New to elevation?
The town of Los Alamos only has a couple true 'GREENS'. Check out Kwage Mesa Trail or Bayo Canyon if you are just starting out.
Our weekly rides are not usually ridden on green trails, but we do have easy riders in our group! Reach out ahead of time to coordinate an easy ride if you are interested.

Our weekly group are mostly on Blues and Blacks. If you think you're up for a group ride, try a piecing together a few of these Blues on Trailforks:
Non-Technical Perimeter, Berm City, Rendija Bench, Dot Grant, Walnut Canyon, and North Pueblo Bench (bridges).
Intermediate Group Rides average about 10 miles with at least 1k ft of elevation gain and last around 2 hours.

Our Advanced weekly group riders will ride a combination of blue and black trails, but at a consistently faster pace than our Intermediate Group. This group does not stop for water breaks or at the top of hills to rest.
If you think you're ready to ride with these Tuffies, try riding up and down Quemazon Trail or down Pipedream.
Your support and contributions will enable us to maintain trails and host more community events. Make your dollars go further--LANL matches donations, go to LANL employee page for more info!
